This district located in the west can only be discovered on foot or by 4x4. An adapted vehicle is necessary to reach it. The Maze is accessed through the Horseshoe Canyon Unit, which houses Great Gallery and beautiful rock paintings. The Maze borders Glen Canyon National Recreation Area and shares the Orange Cliffs site with it. It is the least accessible district in Canyonlands. It takes at least three days to enjoy. It is strongly recommended that you have the proper equipment, such as first aid supplies.
