BOULDER MOUNTAIN
Small part of the Dixie National Forest, which borders a large western part of Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument.
Between Boulder and Torrey, Scenic Byway 12 passes through a forested area near Boulder Mountain. This is a small part of the Dixie National Forest, which runs along a large western portion of Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument. Near the pass, at nearly 2,900 m, there are areas to enjoy the distant views (over 100 miles) below. There are nearly 80 small lakes in the area and many roads provide direct access by car. Check with the forest service for open roads.

certes c'est beau mais rien de transcendant ,il y a beaucoup mieux ailleurs surtout hors des sentier battu comme la Boulder road mais 4x4 obligatoire.En tout cas la région est de tout beauté.
