KOLOB ARCH TRAIL
Go there and contact
One of the world's largest arches in Zion National Park.
This trail follows the Timber Creek and La Verkin Creek rivers and ends at Kolob Arch. This geological monument is a spectacular natural arch. In 2006, the Natural Arch and Bridge Society measured its size and concluded that Kolob Arch was exactly 287.4 feet long, or 87.6 meters. It is the second largest arch in the world. On the way to Kolob Arch, you'll also find campsites (La Verkin Creek) where a permit is required before setting up camp. These campsites are on a first-come, first-served basis.
