Green, steep, creek-crossing hike to Double Arch Alcove in Zion National Park
Taylor Creek Trail is a pleasant hike that starts just over 3 km from the entrance to Kolob Canyons. Also known as the "Middle Fork of Taylor Creek", this trail crosses streams and rivers. You can also discover the Larson and Fife cabins, built between the 1930s and the mid-50s. At the end of the trail, discover Double Arch Alcove, a cave-like formation where sandstone is hollowed out and water seeps through, staining the rock with black and white lines.
