John Ford's Point pays tribute to the cinema of the eponymous director, famous for his record of Westerns filmed in the landscapes of Monument Valley. These include Fantastic Ride (1939), The Pursuit (1946), The Apache Massacre (1948), The Heroic Charge (1949), Convoy of the Brave (1950), Prisoner of the Desert (1956), The Conquest of the West (1962) and The Cheyenne (1964). John Ford discovered the place for the first time in 1937; he will make it travel many times to the charismatic John Wayne, his favorite actor.
