The Grand Canyon Railway is the historic rail link between Williams and Grand Canyon Village. Established in 1901 by the Atchison, Topeka & Santa Fe Railway, the line ceased operation in 1974 before being revived by new investors in 1989. Since then, a tourist train has carried visitors aboard six different classes, on a 2h15-hour journey back in time. It is also possible to privatize a car. Whether you decide to board or not, Williams station is a must-see for its historic side.
