Some pueblos ruins are accessible by yourself; for others, you will need to join a guided tour organized by the park's rangers. Find out about the Visitor Center. Discovery of the dwellings of the troglodyte population who lived here for over 700 years. The park now protects about 5,000 archeological sites, among the best preserved in the United States. An essential place for your visit! Some trails have sections to climb (by scales).

Cliff Palace: guided tour only from early April to early November. Duration: 1 hour. With about 100 pieces, it is the largest site in the park and certainly the most impressive. The visit will first offer a magnificent panorama of the village excavated in the rock, then you will need a little crapahub, climb 120 steps and climb several scales to reach the interior of the site. If you only have to visit, give it a preference.

Balcony House: guided tour only from late April to early October. Duration: 1 hour. A village of medium houses with forty houses. Access to the site with its many scales is one of the most sportive in the park.

Spruce Tree House: free access from March to November. Guided tour for the rest of the year. Duration: 1 hour. 130 rooms and 8 Kivas (or ceremonial rooms), built in a natural alcove of 66 meters wide and 27 meters deep. This is the third largest cliff dwelling after Cliff Palace and Long House.

Long House: guided tour only from early June to early September. Duration: 1:30. The site was searched between 1959 and 1961 under the Wetherill Mesa Archeological Project. Located on Wetherill Mesa in the western part of the park, Long House is accessible by a winding road of twenty kilometers following an historic trail.

Step House: free access without guide from early June to early September. Duration: 45 minutes. The site differs from others because it would have been occupied at two distinct times, including one dating from 626 BC The visit is free, you will join the site via a steep trail of 1.6 km.
