Arizona Museum of Ethnology and Archaeology with a collection of Anasazi pottery and Kachina dolls
After the Heard Museum in Phoenix, it is the second museum in Arizona dedicated to ethnology and archaeology. Its reputation is due in particular to its large collection of Anasazi pottery. It also displays the famous dolls called kachinas, which, in Hopi mythology, are considered to be spirits. In addition, the Museum of Northern Arizona hosts superb temporary exhibitions featuring other art forms, such as photography.
