Arizona Capitol Museum
A beautiful late 19th century building, housing an exhibit on the second floor that pays tribute to theUSS Arizona.
This superb late 19th-century granite building features a copper dome topped by a victory. The three Cs on the rotunda frieze stand for "copper", "cotton" and "climate". On the1st floor, an exhibition pays tribute to the USS Arizona, standard-bearer of the American fleet at Pearl Harbor. Another section is dedicated to the Merci Train, which the French filled with over 52,000 gifts in gratitude for the support of the United States in the Second World War. On the2nd floor, don't miss the Governor's office.
