Phoenix Art Museum
Museum gathering European and American paintings since the 18th century in a beautiful building, temporary exhibitions
This superb museum brings together nearly 17,000 works, including a very fine collection of European and American paintings from the 18th century to the present day. Moreover, the building is absolutely worth a look: it is a splendid architectural achievement that can be appreciated both from the outside and by wandering through the various galleries that make it up. Several extensions have been made to the original building, designed in 1959 by a student of Frank Lloyd Wright. Finally, the temporary exhibitions are of high quality; consult the calendar.
