PIMA AIR & SPACE MUSEUM
One of the great open-air museums with aircraft exhibits, including John F. Kennedy's Air Force One and guided tours
Some 32 hectares of exhibits are spread across one of the world's largest open-air museums, founded in 1976. Visitors stroll among over 400 aircraft, including John F. Kennedy's Air Force One. Between the open-air exhibits, the main hangar and the smaller ones, it's easy to spend a day here. Tours - free of charge - are organized on foot or by streetcar, with volunteer guides who have often served as pilots themselves. A particularly family-friendly site.
