This vast forest park begins at the foot of the Santa Catalina Mountains, about 20 km northeast of Tucson. A real hiker's paradise, it is also covered by an electric shuttle that offers a personal narration system to learn more about the flora, fauna and history of the area. If you would like to get the itinerary and a map of the trails that run through the site, go to the Visitor Center in town or to the one at the entrance of the park.
