This charming ryokan, located right next to the Naritasan Shinshō-ji temple, is a real little museum. The owner, who speaks English, exhibits a few items that belonged to his samurai ancestors. In addition to the warm welcome he extends, he knows countless anecdotes and Japanese legends that plunge you right into the heart of the local culture. The atmosphere here is extremely friendly. The rooms are simple, and the visitor finds himself in a typical family ryokan. A friendly stopover on the way to the temple or airport.
