HAKONE COUNTRY CLUB
Hakone Country Club is a golf club located in the city of Hakone. Founded in 1954, it was designed by Shiro Akahoshi, a renowned golf architect in Japan, who inherited the golf design philosophy of Alister MacKenzie. The club is located in the middle of the picturesque Hakone Highland and benefits from a wide variety of flora and fauna, as well as the hot springs for which the region is famous. The course hosted the 2002 Japan Women's Open, as well as other leading tournaments. The club also offers rates for guest players and has a dress code.
