An excellent address to taste the famous Japanese sweets, the zenzai, between two temple visits. This café offers some good dishes for lunch, but it is best known for its zenzai, sticky rice balls in a sweet azuki bean sauce, and also its delicious crunchy waffles served with a scoop of ice cream. To be enjoyed over a good coffee, for a well-deserved gourmet break. In the summer, the house also serves good crushed ice cream in various flavours, perfect for a little refreshment.
