Kansai International Airport is built entirely on an artificial island. It was designed by Italian architect Renzo Piano. It is one of the world's largest hubs. It serves Kansai's three major cities (Ōsaka, Kyōto and Kōbe). Limousine buses connect the airport to the stations of Shin-Ōsaka, Ōsaka-Umeda, Kyōbashi... The journey takes 50 minutes. Haruka trains connect the airport with Tennoji Station (~30 minutes, ¥1840) and Ōsaka Station (44 minutes, ¥2410).
