This venue is the oldest nō theatre in Japan. It belongs to the same Yamamoto family for several generations. Nō is the first UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage in Japan. Considered to be the oldest form of Japanese theatre, nō poetically expresses stories of warriors and battles.
