Nicknamed "the triumphal arch", the neo-renaissance style building surprises the visitor with its large white façade and marble interior, a UFO in the heart of the lively Dotonbori district. Four to five kabuki shows are presented there every year. The rest of the time, the theatre hosts plays, concerts or comedy shows. Note that kabuki shows can last almost a day. The interior offers a pleasant setting to enjoy the shows and the seats are comfortable.
