TENNOJI ZOO
Opened in 1915, it is one of the oldest zoos in Japan. It was, more precisely, the third zoo to be built in the Archipelago. You can see and admire nearly 1,000 animals of 230 different species in a pleasant 11-hectare park. The zoo aims above all to reproduce as much as possible of the natural environment of each species, from snakes to rhinoceroses, and tends to make visitors aware of the need to respect the environment with a very interesting educational vision. The visit is very pleasant to do with the family.
