This museum offers you to discover the Japanese way of life over several eras. On the 8th floor, you will discover everyday objects and models from Ōsaka showing the evolution of the life of its inhabitants during the Meiji, Taisho and Showa periods (1868-1950). On the 9th floor, a real neighbourhood of Ōsaka from the Edo period (1607-1867) has been reconstructed, allowing visitors to enter the houses and shops to soak up the atmosphere of yesteryear.
