At 2.6 kilometres long, it would be the longest covered passage in Japan. It takes 40 minutes of walking to get through it. There is a friendly neighbourhood atmosphere with more than 800 small, very local shops: clothes, art objects, knives, tea, shoes, books, butchers, fruit and vegetable shops, small restaurants and cafes... A pleasant stroll at any time of the day and a nice option for gifts.
