This funicular is a great experience not to be missed. Launched in 1932, it takes you back in time to the heart of the beautiful nature of Mount Rokkō. The funicular departs from a small station that looks like a mountain chalet. It is made up of two carriages, a system that is quite rare in the world. The first car is open, ideal for observing and taking pictures, and the second is closed. The journey takes about 10 minutes. In autumn, the journey takes on another dimension with the many colourful trees.
