It is in this restaurant that one would taste the best kamameshi of the region. Kamameshi are rice dishes(meshi) cooked in kama, iron pots that allow the rice to be lightly burned, giving it a special flavour. The rice is traditionally cooked with various vegetables, meat or fish in a sauce made from sake, soy sauce and mirin. The seafood comes directly from the island of Awaji and the vegetables from local producers. You will just have to be patient, there may be a queue.
