To say that terraces are in short supply in Japan is an understatement. Arima Onsen is no exception. Griddle me local may offer Western-style cuisine, but its terrace, in the heart of the town's little streets, is a charming asset. The terrace overlooks a hot spring. At lunchtime, you can enjoy pizza, wagyu steak or salad. You can also sample the local beer and take away a coffee to stroll the streets. It's also a good address for sweet breaks.
