TOCEN GOSHOBOH
Inn founded in the century, offering three types of accommodation, with tatami, futon and paper partitions
Founded in the 12th century, it is the oldest hostel in Arima. Shogun Yoshimitsu Ashikaga is said to have stayed there. It has been run by the same family for many generations, and inside, you always feel as if you are out of time. The rooms, of three types, are, of course, Japanese style, with tatami, futon and paper partitions. Goshoboh also opens its baths to non-resident guests during the day. These are onsen inside the ryōkan, made of stones, for women and men, from kinsen hot springs.
