This guesthouse is run by a young Korean man who has been in love with Japan for a long time. He wanted to open a place that would create a link between locals and tourists. The kanji used to form the Maya name thus mean "10,000" and "house", the aim being that 10,000 people come to stay there. The goal of conviviality is achieved in any case, since Maya guesthouse is a warm place, perfect for a stay to meet Japan. The interior is very cosy and one can enjoy the lounge area to make new encounters.
