With its 106 m long, it is the largest cruise ship in Japan. The fans of the shipbuilding industry may recognize it, the Luminous Kōbe is inspired by Normandy, a transatlantic liner considered in the mid -1930 s as the largest and best in the world. The Luminous tends to follow its tracks by offering travelers an exceptional service, in a soothing and comfortable setting. During the crossing, one can admire the town of Kobe, dominated by the mountains and the uniform cutting of the islands of the Seto inland sea. The cruise is even more remarkable at the end of the day, to enjoy the sunset, the illuminations of the Akashi Kaiko Bridge and the return, the glittering lights of Kobe harbor. The five restaurants in the boat offer various menus for lunch and dinner and you can enjoy French Mediterranean cuisine, Kōbe steak or simply tea or coffee accompanied by cakes.
