Opened in 1984, in a sublime house, this museum dedicated to Japanese woodworking tools is the only one of its kind in the country. The museum's philosophy is to collect and preserve old tools as a legacy of this traditional craft. The exhibition, which retraces Japanese carpentry, aims to pass on this art to new generations. The section on the construction of temples and shrines is unmissable and the museography is very pleasant
