HAKODATE BEER

The brewery, which dates back to 1898, was brought up to date in the city's red-brick warehouse district a century later. Today, one can taste several locally brewed beers, thanks to the excellent natural water table of Mount Hakodate, which is essential for the house's characteristic pilsner. Depending on the season, more original beers are added to the menu. Western and Japanese pub-style dishes are also served. There is also a store where you can take home a small souvenir (or several).
