This tower is one of the highest in Japan, even if it is not very impressive by its size, which is 107 meters. But what is impressive is of course the view from its 360° observatory, especially on the Goryokaku. One can then realize the spectacular star-shaped architecture, like Vauban fortresses, and admire the sublime cherry blossoms, during the hanami period. Small well-made dioramas telling the story of the last battle of the civil war are displayed on the second floor.

Attenante à l'entrée de la forteresse cette tour permet pour une fois d'admirer par le haut la forme en étoile du fort type Vauban et plus loin le littoral. Attraction intéressante pour compléter la visite du fort
