Founded in 1834, this lovely old shop serves dengaku (tofu, sweet potatoes and fish grilled over a wood fire). It is located near the Shirokiya lacquerware shop. This building used to produce miso thanks to a mill. Once you have placed your order, your food is then grilled on the open fire. It is very nice and very appetizing. Depending on the dish you order, you will have the choice between several types of miso. The menu includes tofu, mushrooms, potatoes, konjac or mochi.
