Housed in a magnificent wooden building, this restaurant serves refined local cuisine. Specialties include juwari soba noodles , made with Japanese buckwheat flour, and Zao beef (the cows are raised directly in Zao). But the best thing about this establishment is that it's also an onsen. Admission for an adult is ¥1,000. Come and relax after skiing or hiking. The surroundings of the outdoor baths are superb!
