Founded in 1907, Azumaya quickly became a reference as a soba noodle shop. Its specialty is Wanko Soba. Wanko Soba noodles are an all-you-can-eat soba dish served in Iwate. Empty soba bowls are stacked on top of each other on the table for easy final counting. It's a sight to see! Azumaya has several locations, with the one near the train station being the most accessible. In addition to Wanko-Soba, the menu offers katsudon (rice bowl with pork chops) and tendon (rice bowl with tempura).
