BUKE-YASHIKI ISHIGURO-KE

This is so-called samurai houses, five of which remain open to the public. The different houses are located along the main street, from south to north. It was in the Ishuguro family established in the city in 183, financial adviser of the Statake clan, and its descendants, that the Bukeyashiki Ishiguro-ke belonged. This residence is considered one of the most beautiful samurai houses of Kakunodate.
