Literally a minute's walk from the exit of Aomori station, A-FACTORY is a hybrid shopping center, combining a duty-free market for all kinds of local produce, an apple cider factory (a must in the region), an event space and restaurants. Suffice it to say that A-FACTORY is a very interesting stopover on your visit to the town, especially for local produce and apples. You can watch the cider-making process from behind the windows, and eat... crêpes.
