Ryokan with 17 Japanese and Western rooms, on-site restaurant and superb onsen
This 17-room ryokan is located quite far from the center, 20 minutes by bus to the Utsukushigahara Onsen stop. But the experience it offers is well worth the trip, at least for one night. All the rooms, both Japanese and Western, have different characteristics: loft, with an irori (a type of traditional Japanese fireplace), private onsen bath... The food served on site is excellent and refined, a delight. Jazz music is even played in the building. Several magnificent onsen, some of which can be privatized.
