MATSUMOTO CASTLE
Established in 1597, it is one of the finest examples of feudal architecture in Japan. Built on six floors, it benefits from the contrast of black and white, which gives it an impression of authenticity and elegance. The walls and moat date back to 1504, and the six-story Tenshukaku (Heaven's Protector Pavilion) was built in 1597. Inside, there are objects related to the history of the city. There is also a Tsukimi Yagura, the Moon Contemplation Pavilion, which allows the lord to escape the obsession of war from his turret.

A recommander.
