GOHODEN
Hotel offering Western-style rooms, with public baths for warming up on winter evenings
This surprising building, a mixture of wood and brick, at first glance looks like a large Japanese chalet. The wood, which is found inside, comes from zelkova, these small Asian trees. The atmosphere that emanates from the place is rather nostalgic, in the middle of the countryside. The rooms are, for the great majority, of Western style. We appreciate the public baths which allow to warm up during the winter evenings. A small shop offers some souvenirs of the region. In this small pension, time stands still.
