STROLL ON THE NAKASENDŌ

The big attraction is the pleasant walk between Magome and Tsumago on the Nakasendō, which takes about 3 hours. To leave Magome, you will have to walk along the road for almost 45 minutes If you want to cut short this part of the walk, which is not very pleasant, and arrive directly at Magome-tōge, take the bus towards Tsumago and get off after about 12 minutes. Walk to the teahouse, and take the small path through the forest to the right. On the way, there are also signs in English.
