This beautiful house, with its refined architecture, belonged to an important sake merchant. The house was destroyed by fire in 1905 and rebuilt in 1907 by a famous master carpenter from the Hida area. The Yoshijima House is a building of great beauty, where every detail has been carefully considered. It is designated as an important cultural property of Japan. The ticket includes a cup of tea, which can also be purchased separately.
