MINSHUKU SHIMIZU
200-year-old historic inn, offering guests an intimate setting with traditional rooms of six or eight tatami mats
With its 200-year history, Shimizu Inn is a small, intimate inn with only three rooms. At dinner and breakfast, all guests sit around the irori (the central fireplace) and enjoy home cooking made with vegetables from the garden. The style of the establishment is, of course, gassho. The traditional rooms are of six or eight tatami mats. The hostel is about 15 minutes walk from the bus stop. It is best to travel in this area with appropriate luggage.
