This restaurant, which specializes in shōjin-ryōri (vegetarian dishes served in temples) is located in an old house that is over 100 years old. The dishes are served in beautiful lacquerware or beautiful pottery. At lunchtime you can try the bentō from shōjin-ryōri or the kaiseki menu. It is absolutely necessary to book and pay a small supplement (¥300 to ¥800 per person) if you wish to have lunch in a private room.
