This Edo style garden, more peaceful than Kenroku-en, offers a very pleasant and contemplative stroll. Naokata Wakita, a vassal of the Kaga Estate, began construction of this garden in the mid-17th century. Additional improvements were made by subsequent generations. There are a large number of plants, including a century-old Korean pentaphylla pine. You can end your visit in the best way possible: with a matcha tea.
