In the village of Tomonoura, 30 minutes from the heart of Fukuyama, this stone lighthouse is just over 160 years old. It is the highest in Japan and regularly appears in movies such as Wolverine, the Struggle of immortal, and in dramatic television series. The village and the port with its gangi (stone marches used for the unloading of boats) dating back to the Edo era and which are still used daily should not disappoint the fans of the most emblematic of the X-Men and all the romantic lovers of beautiful landscapes.
