Built during the Tenryaku era (947 to 957) of the Heian period, Fukuzenji temple is one of the fishing port's landmarks. The site's exceptional lifestyle is particularly noteworthy. It is built on a stone wall overlooking the inland sea. It looks like a painting! It was a place of welcome for diplomatic missions, particularly those from Korea. You can contemplate some beautiful wood carvings on the Taichoro wall.
