This restaurant has been serving caramelized conger eel on a bed of rice for over a century. It is the speciality of the house. There is no reservation system, so it is advised to come early (the restaurant is famous). The interior of the restaurant is traditional Japanese style, with counters or tables. The eel is grilled when ordered, so you have to wait a bit before being served. The dish is served in a porcelain bowl with a wooden lid to keep the food warm.
