SANCTUAIRE HAKUTO
This Shinto shrine is located not far from the shores of the Sea of Japan. It is inspired by an ancient Japanese legend of the white rabbit of Inaba and its benefactor Ôkuninushi, who, after helping the wounded rabbit, married the woman he coveted, Yamagi. The shrine is renowned for curing skin problems and wounds. But it's also a famous place for lovers, who come to pray amidst representations of the rabbit. It's advisable to use the cab service dedicated to international tourists (3h, ¥4,000), at Tottori station.
