In a beautiful steep park at the foot of Mount Yashima, this village-museum offers visitors the opportunity to discover more than 20 traditional houses dating from the Edo era to the Taisho era, from different regions of Shikoku, which have been reconstructed in an absolutely superb natural setting. It is well worth a visit. There is also the Shikoku Mura Gallery, designed by the Japanese architect Tadao Ando. This art museum completes the visit.
