This museum presents a wide selection of quality contemporary Asian art. It allows visitors to see the best works by some of the world's most innovative artists. The permanent collection houses approximately 2,900 pieces. Special exhibitions are added to the museum's program from time to time. The museum is located on the 7th and 8th floors of the Hakata Riverain Complex in Kawabata, near the Nakasukawabata subway station (exit 6).
