This beautiful, fully restored two-story Meji era mansion is located by the sea. It belonged to a coal industry magnate, Takatori Koreyoshi, who died in 1927. It is composed of two living areas, a Zen garden, a tea room, a large Noh theater stage and a last room more contemporary and western, with a piano. From the first floor, you can see the beach and the islands of Karatsu Bay in the distance. A nice visit to discover the beauty of the architecture of this period.
